Jon
I am always wondering: Why do u have the courage to do all these? I mean, u're from a country miles away and a culture and living standards so vastly different from where u are now.

So who really owns the property? The government or the people. Vn being a communist country and all.

I'm guessing you're not holding the title since aren't foreigners forbidden to own land in VN?

Jon, Anonymous has some interesting questions for you. Anyway, I am looking forward to your future postings about your new house design and construction. I am about to buy some land with my new wife and start design on a new house in the next month.

Hi Jon,
I have built a house in VN too, near Long Thanh, on the road to Vung Tau. You know, all brick and cement. My Vietnamese wife has the title. I am unclear if I can get title. I live in USA now, but plan to retire there off and on, in California and there.
